Oyo Education Sector Battles Security Sector In 2024 Inter-Sectorial Football Competition*

Education Sector Football Club of the Oyo State Civil Service have been admonished to play by the rules of the game as the team is gearing up for the highly anticipated final match of the 2024 Inter-Sectorial Football Competition against Security Sector Football Club today at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan.
Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Salihu Adelabu, while addressing the team ahead of the game billed for this evening at the conference room of the Ministry, Agodi, Secretariat, Ibadan, called on the players to see the game as a novelty match.
He harped on the need for them to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship.
He informed them that the ministry is ready and working assiduously to promote sporting activities in our schools.
He prayed for them to be
victorious at the end of the match.
Also, speaking to the Coach of the team, Mr. Akinosun Sunday, said that, with determination and focus, the team has been training intensively to perfect their strategy and technique.
” The players are confident in their abilities and are ready to give it their all to bring home the win.
“The final match is expected to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams eager to claim the top spot. Education Sector ‘fans are eagerly anticipating the match, and the team is calling on their supporters to come out in full force to cheer them on.
